Class B to A CDL Upgrade (Theory)
Once training is started, it must be completed within 90 days.
Any driver currently holding a Class B CDL can upgrade to a Class A CDL upon completion of THEORY and BEHIND-THE-WHEEL training requirements and a CDL skills test. This Smart Horizons curriculum track satisfies the THEORY training requirement ONLY.
A minimum score of 80 is required to pass a test or graded assignment. Successful completion of all content, test and/or written assignments, and surveys is required to earn CEUs. Course completion is reported to the Training Provider Registry.
90-day extensions are also available.
